Meet the Counselor

Mrs. Lisa Hoelscher

Hello Raider Family!  My name is Lisa Hoelscher and I am excited to be part of both the Eagle Lake Primary and Sheridan Elementary families serving in the role of school counselor.  After graduating from Deer Park High School, I attended Sam Houston State University where I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural Education and a minor in Secondary Education.  I began my teaching career in 2004 with Temple ISD.  I hold masters degrees in Teacher Leadership, School Counseling and Administration from Lamar University. 

The past 19 years I have spent teaching and counseling.  I love to spend my spare time with my family.  John and I have been married for 21 years and together we have three children:  Michael, Emma and Abigail.  Michael is a nursing school student attending Texas A&M, Emma attends Wharton County Junior College, and Abigail is currently in high school.

I look forward to working with all students and their families.  My goal is to empower students and families to make their educational experience successful.
